Firebirds Soar at Northern Conference Championship
The 2024 season has been nothing short of extraordinary for the Firebirds, as both the men's and women's teams delivered standout performances at the Northern Conference Championship. With several athletes earning All-Conference honors, including Utah Gusa's impressive third-place finish, the Firebirds have firmly established themselves as a formidable presence in the conference, setting the stage for continued success as the season unfolds.

Firebirds’ performance was highlighted by several standout athletes who helped propel their team to

On the men’s side, Utah Gusa was a key contributor, leading the Firebirds to the 2024 Northern
Conference Championship with his remarkable 3rd-place finish. His ability to consistently compete at a
high level has earned him recognition not only within his team but across the conference as well. His
top-three finish was a pivotal moment that helped position the Firebirds as one of the premier teams in

Close behind Gusa was Dale Gust, who clinched an impressive 5th-place finish. Gust’s tenacity and skill

strong lineup. Micah Bragg rounded out the Firebirds’ top performers, securing 7th place in the championship race.

place overall. Leading the charge for the Lady Firebirds was Joey Janise, who delivered an outstanding
6th place finish. Her leadership and determination were key factors in the Lady Firebirds' success, and
her 6th-place finish earned her a well-deserved spot on the 2024 All-Conference team.
